IANS has obtained a permanent observer status in Coordination Council Eurasia The 36th joint meeting of Coordination Council (CC) and Coordination Group of Experts (CGE) Eurasia took place in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, from 23 to 26 April 2019.  More than 50 representatives attended the meeting.

BANS Took Part in HeliRussia 2018

From May 24 to May 26, 2018, the XI International helicopter industry exhibition HeliRussia 2018 was held at Crocus Expo, Moscow, where BANS exhibited its prototype of the helicopter onboard situational awareness system for helicopter crews (BSSO-B) for the first time.

IANS Group took part in the METEOREX 2014 together with Laser Systems Ltd. and Kontur-NIIRS Ltd.

On 7-9 July 2014, LenExpo Exhibition Complex in St. Petersburg hosted METEOREX 2014, the world’s largest and most significant international exhibition of instruments, systems, equipment and services in the field of hydrometeorology, hydrology, and environmental monitoring and related areas. IANS Group took part in the exhibition together with Laser Systems Ltd. and Kontur-NIIRS Ltd.

During the exhibition a minibus-based mobile integrated meteorological complex was introduced which includes:

  • Doppler meteorological navigation radar for airdrome adjacent area (has the option of both mobile and stationary ground placement which allows its use on airfields, heliports and other facilities that require continuous monitoring of weather conditions);
  • Meteorological station, providing measurements of temperature, humidity, pressure, wind speed, meteorological visibility and height of a cloud base;
  • Temperature profiler;
  • Satellite system for reception and transmission of meteorological information.

The complex has two workplaces, providing real-time monitoring of meteorological conditions at the deployment location. In addition, our booth 102 in Pavilion 7 demonstrated pulse LIDAR wind profiler WINDEX-5000 which provides measurements of wind fields and atmospheric turbulence at a range of up to 5 km.

Group’s latest developments aroused great interest among professionals in hydrometeorology and environmental monitoring from all regions of Russia and CIS countries, as well as consumers of hydrometeorological data from various weather dependent industries of Russia and neighboring countries.

During the exhibition, our stand was visited by Deputy Secretary General of the World Meteorological Organization; the head of The Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring of Russia (ROSHYDROMET); director of Information Providing and Notification Center CJSC and the director of "SAIAP" SNCO within the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia; representatives of Global Teknik A.S. (Turkey), GAMIC (Germany), Furuno (Japan), IBL (Slovakia), ALLWEATHERINC (USA); Korean companies Wellbian System, Weather Pia and Kweather Co Ltd; Kuwait International Airport, Uzhydromet (Uzbekistan), as well as Russian government agencies: Hydrometeorological Research Center, Rosdormonitoring etc.
