IANS has obtained a permanent observer status in Coordination Council Eurasia The 36th joint meeting of Coordination Council (CC) and Coordination Group of Experts (CGE) Eurasia took place in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, from 23 to 26 April 2019.  More than 50 representatives attended the meeting.

From May 24 to May 26, 2018, the XI International helicopter industry exhibition HeliRussia 2018 was held at Crocus Expo, Moscow, where BANS exhibited its prototype of the helicopter onboard situational awareness system for helicopter crews (BSSO-B) for the first time.

The next stage of the international standardization of the Integrated Wake Vortex Flight Safety System

On January 27-31, 2014, the specialists of JSC International Aero Navigation Systems (IANS) took part in the meeting of the SAE International working groups in Melbourne, Florida (USA).

Huge interest from representatives of the largest aircraft designers and manufacturers was demonstrated in participants' speeches at the meeting of the SAE G10 WV group and discussions of the issues related to the development of standards for the machine interface of the wake vortex flight safety systems.

In close collaboration with foreign colleagues the specialists of JSC International Aero Navigation Systems prepared the final version of the international document SAE ARP 6267 "Airborne Wake Vortex Safety Systems" for the balloting procedure and enactment.

SAE ARP 6267 will be the first industrial regulatory document for WVSS.

The Working Group for development of standards for human-machine interface in airborne and ground equipment of the integrated wake vortex flight safety system (SAE G10 WV) was established in 2013 upon the initiative of the Russian party. Prof. M.I. Kanevsky, D.Sc. in Engineering, the executive director of JSC International Aero Navigation Systems, is the Chairman of the Group.

The work of SAE International involves representatives of Russian and foreign companies: the State Research Center of Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute" (TsAGI) (Russia); Airbus SAS (EU), Astronautics Corporation of America (USA), the Boeing Company (USA), Rockwell Collins, Inc. (USA).
